She has sat down to chat with hundreds of showbiz luminaries, from Moses (Charlton Heston) to Mary Poppins (Julie Andrews); skated with Brian Boitano; appeared on Broadway – okay, so it was after the show and the theater was empty, but Broadway nevertheless – and has been inspired by the courage and fortitude of people who are battling life-threatening conditions, learning to read for the first time at age 30 or working to make the world better for others.
